Will it be cheaper if I don’t want the content creator services?
No — the price stays the same. The content creator services are a built-in part of the value we offer. These extra, behind-the-scenes moments add depth and emotion to your final gallery and films, helping us tell your story fully and beautifully.
How do you photograph weddings?
At AKL Photo and Films, we take a mix of laid-back storytelling and intentional direction. Most of the day, we quietly capture moments as they unfold — the laughter, glances, and little details that make your wedding unique.
For family portraits and wedding party photos, we step in with clear guidance to keep things smooth and efficient — all while keeping the day stress-free.
We also love capturing the details — from the lace on your dress to the styled tables, plus your surroundings, whether it’s sweeping landscapes, cozy interiors, or city backdrops — so your story feels fully complete.
Are you insured?
Yes! AKL Photo and Films is fully insured, including equipment and liability coverage. This ensures that you and your venue are always protected, and your day runs smoothly and professionally.
Where are you based and do you travel?
We’re local to Jacksonville, Wilmington, Emerald Isle, Havelock, Wallace, and surrounding areas. But we love travel! No matter where your wedding is — down the road or across the country — we’re ready to capture your story.
Every location inspires us creatively, helping us include the unique vibe of each place in your photos and films.
When will we get our photos?
You won’t have to wait long. We deliver your full gallery within 7 business days. Years of editing experience allow us to provide fast, high-quality results so you can relive your day while it’s still fresh in your mind.
How many pictures will we receive?
You’ll get all the best moments — big and small. The minimum, expect 50–100 photos per hour of coverage, but we don’t limit your gallery. Color, black & white, and artistic edits will all be included to reflect the emotion and feel of your day.
How you deliver the Videos?
All videos are delivered via Pixieset Galleries, the same platform as photos. You’ll receive a private gallery to watch, download, and share your films in high quality, anytime and anywhere.
How the payments work?
To secure your date, a 40% deposit is required when signing the contract. This deposit is non-refundable, but can be applied toward a rescheduled date or future session if needed.
The remaining balance is due one month before your wedding day, giving you plenty of time to prepare without stress. This setup helps lock in your date and ensures everything runs smoothly leading up to your big day.
CAN WE CUSTOMIZE OUR PACKAGE?
Absolutely! Every wedding is unique, and we work with you to create a plan that fits your day and vision. Our goal is to make the process smooth, easy, and stress-free, so you can focus on enjoying your celebration.
WHAT IF SOMETHING UNEXPECTED HAPPENS ON THE DAY?
We’ve got you covered. In the rare event that something prevents me from shooting, we will do everything possible to send another trusted photographer from our network so your day is still captured beautifully.
I’ve even photographed weddings with a sprained ankle, so nothing stops me from telling your story. In the worst-case scenario, our insurance will ensure your money is refunded — giving you complete peace of mind.
